The BP Discovery Programme started in the early 90s and offered start-up grants to businesses and individuals. The Programme was created to encourage young entrepreneurs to develop innovative business ideas that addressed employment challenges in Scotland. Projects were awarded grants based on their innovation, sustainability and scalability.
