Clyde Muirshiel Walking Festival

Clyde Muirshiel is Scotland's Largest Regional Park covering 108 square miles of Renfrewshire, Inverclyde and North Ayrshire. It has 3 Visitor Centres located at Castle Semple Country Park Lochwinnoch, Greenock Cut Centre beside Loch Thom, near Inverkip and Muirshiel Country Park, near Lochwinnoch and a sandy beach at Lunderston Bay, near Gourock.

This brand was initially developed to promote their first ever Walking Festival held in May 2018. The 3-day event offered a variety of guided walks for each day, coordinated by Countryside Rangers with the help and support of local walking groups to cater for all levels of walker, from the leisurely paced stroll to the more serious hill walker, in both pace and duration.

The Walking Festival returned in May 2019 and was due to be held again in May 2020 but was cancelled due to the pandemic.
