Lanarkshire Development Agency was one of the thirteen local enterprise companies (LECs) created by Scottish Enterprise. Initially these were Limited Companies with boards led by local business people, but from 2000 they became wholly owned subsidiaries of Scottish Enterprise.
This brand was designed to reflect Lanarkshire’s industrial heritage so did not follow the Scottish Enterprise style until it was rebranded as Scottish Enterprise Lanarkshire. The brand was applied extensively to reports, display material, advertising and signage.
